Wangdong and Dingcheng have competed against each other many times before. They were both in the Under 16 Chess Championship last year, which Dingcheng won. Dingcheng has held the title for 2 years. Today's game was a very long and exciting one. It lasted for more than two hours and both players were very tired at the end of it. Wangdong said, "I have played against Dingcheng before, so I knew that he was an excellent player. I was extremely nervous about the game, but I wanted to win the title this year."
